Motion against Provision of Aid to Developing Nations Coursework
Motion against Provision of Aid to developing Nations - Coursework ExampleThey will not develop the resources they have because they know they will get aid when they urgency it. Secondly, most of the aid given does not accomplish its task. It is lost in corrupt deals. Governments swindle the silver meant for development of infrastructure and put it into different uses other than the expected ones (Wilkinson & Pickett, 2009350). The goal is to have the money progress the poor, plainly in most instances, the poor remain poorer. Thirdly, the countries giving aid will place the receiving system countries under too much pressure. These countries have to change their political and economic policies to suit the needs of their donating countries, and this shows that the pass catcher country owes the donating country a favor (Wilkinson & Pickett, 2009351). Fourthly, the donating countries may have it as a condition that abroad companies need to manage the funds given, denying the host s a chance to make their decisions. Since the developing nation needs the money, it is rattling easy to have them agree to such terms, but it will hurt its economy owing to the heart and soul move abroad rather than invested in the country (Wilkinson & Pickett, 2009352). The fifth point is that the amount of money sent or the form of aid given could benefit large-scale projects while the common citizen who can but handle the smaller projects remains a spectator. The goal is to develop the lowest earning person to become self-sufficient, but the use of aid denies them this chance (Wilkinson & Pickett, 2009350).
